What is the best way to put in MCI codes into and ANSI menu/drawing without jacking everything up? I have done it with the draw many time
but I probably have been doing it the hard way. Like I have the ansi without the mci codes. I do an animation rescan, then I type every code
in and save it. Is that the only way? And..... Can you add mci codes
using PabloDraw. oooooor Will the !$r60 mystic stuff be the best way? Thanks for any input..

If it's only a couple, like a clear screen or pause at the bottom, I
just use Pablodraw and hit INS to move the characters at the top over
a few so it displays correctly in the BBS. Anything more complex than
that I just use an animation, top-down in TheDraw.
I want to say you can put the MCI codes in and THEN enable animation
and it should work fine, but I usually do what you do, animation > MCI codes > save.

To be completely honest. I've ditched the whole idea of ansimation these days. It has always been a pain in the ass (one fuckup and you have to restart the whole process, etc). So I just save the ansi in Pablodraw, then edit it in a text editor, go to the very last character of the last line, and add X/Y coordinates and the proper MCI code. I've found it to
be the easiest and most successful way to do it.
See, this is why I ask questions!! Sweet idea and it would have
saved me a shit-ton of time in the past. Especially when doing a
message editor with 10+ mci codes and you messup one fricken space and have to animate and start over.. uggggggg

The only real caveat to all that is that you really should put the PO command at the beginning of the file, so that it won't ever display the
and then add the text after that. If you try to embed the MCI codes in the ANSI, it will just make it uneditable later.
